Guided by the question, “What food reminds you of home?”, Of the Sweetness We Remember guides the audience through an evening-length program that uses dance, sound, and interviews from the community, inviting audiences to reconnect with one another in a world divided by difference.

Through the taste and memories of a familiar dish and shared joy of a meal together, “Of the Sweetness We Remember” encourages audiences to look beyond the surface on how food shapes our identities and how we relate to one another, reminding us that our shared human experiences can transcend borders, backgrounds, and beliefs.
